18-year-old Montpellier flyhalf rewarded with a three year extension
- 2026
After his impressive start with the senior Montpellier squad, Louis Foursans has signed an extension with the club until 2023
The 18-year-old Foursans broke into the Montpellier senior squad last month after a flyhalf crisis at the club with Handre Pollard and Johan Goosen among the many possible flyhalves sidelined.
Having started rugby in Nîmes, he joined the MHR Academy during the 2019/2020 season at the age of 17.
He was elevated into the Montpellier senior side in November 2020 and made his debut in the TOP14 via the bench against Bayonne having just turned 18.
He made his first start a week later against Bordeaux and his Champions Cup debut in December against Leinster.
