"We Learned Plenty": Reds Reflect on European Tour

"They tested our physicality, and we will learn plenty from this," he said ahead of the side's opening game against Moana Pasifika in Brisbane in round two.

Kiss said Reds fans would see a team in Super Rugby Pacific this season that fights for every inch and works hard to play the most aggressive style of attacking rugby.

"The guys relish the fact that they play in front of a special home crowd and the more there for Moana, the better."

Captain and loose forward Harry Wilson told rugby.com.au that while the side was excited to win both games on tour, they knew it counted for nothing when they ran out to play Moana Pasifika.

"We're excited to see where we can go this year. It's cool to wear the Queensland jersey on the world stage, and it's not something many teams get to do.

"All the Wallabies boys who returned to pre-season were excited to get back in the Queensland group and rip in, and touring [at] this time of the year has been awesome for our connection.

"We've been in each other's pockets for two weeks and while we're probably due for a bit of time back home away from each other, it's been a special tour for us."

After two outstanding games on the tour, second five-eighths Hunter Paisami said in Ulster, "It was good to come up against a quality team, big men who gave it to us all game.

"Our game management was crucial to allow us to play our game, which has been a big focus for us this pre-season.

"Knowing that we are coming up against another really physical team in Moana next, tonight was the ideal preparation for that challenge."

The Brumbies wrapped up their preparation with a 45-12 win over the Force in Canberra at the weekend.

The scores were tied 12-12 at halftime, but the Brumbies dominated the second half.

The Brumbies open their campaign against the Drua in Suva at the weekend.

First five-eighths Noah Lolesio said, "We're expecting them to be powerful and physical next week."

It will be the Brumbies first time in Fiji.

"Year by year, they're getting better and better. It will be a good challenge starting off the season."

Coach Stephen Larkham said both the Brumbies trials games were tough outings.

"We scored 36 points last week and 45 today. We've been showing some pleasing aspects in our attacking game."
