Perfect start to the second half for Worcester! They kick off the second half at full tilt. Pennell receives the ball on the wing and splits the defence with some excellent footwork. He beats three more defenders before serving the ball to Grove who crosses between the posts! Goode adds the extras.
Easter gifts Warriors with a chance to narrow the lead when he handles in the ruck. Goode dutifully guides it over from long distance. And with that, Referee Martin Fox brings a close to the half. Exciting game of rugby so far. Warriors doing very well to trail by five, with the minority of possession. Interesting second half to come..
Harlequins secure clean ball off their own line-out in the Warrior twenty-two. They use the driving maul to great effect, pulling up inches from the Warrior line. Then a poor pillar defence by the Warriors provides Care with space. He flops over Goode's tackle and dots down.
Harlequins are rewarded for a patient build up. They maintain possession in the Worcester half, grinding their way towards the whitewash, and after a number of phases, a great pass by Lowe puts Williams into space on the wing. Williams saunters over for try number two, and Quinns are back in front.
Warriors pick up two more penalties in quick succession and retake the lead. Harlequin's discipline at the breakdown letting them down. Credit to the Warriors though, who are playing some excellent rugby.
Quick response by the Harlequins. They work their way back into the Warrior half and start to build the phases, feeling out the Warrior defence in search of space. Admirable defence by the Warriors but eventually Evans takes the ball on a superb line, shrugs off two tackles and touches down.
Warriors conjure a try from the turnover! They steal possession in their own twenty-two and fling the ball out wide to exploit an overlap on the wing. Quinns, caught out of position, scramble to defend. But the Warriors tear down the touch-line and Pennel crosses unchallenged in the corner on his 100th appearance!
Promising start for the home team; playing some creative, ambitious rugby so far. Quinns currently on the attack in the Warrior half.. But Worcester turn over..
Good afternoon and welcome. Today the Worcester Warriors welcome the mighty Harlequins to the Sixways. Warriors haven't budged from ninth place since Round 6 of the premiership. They've won a single match in the last nine and enter the game the underdogs. That said, Harlequins have lost their last two games away and lost three from their last four games.. Incidentally, Easter is set to make his 200th appearance for the club today! Kick-off on the way..
And Nick Easter as well number 8 and out half. Do quins reckon they can bet the warriors with only 13 players!!!!
