Chad Solomon makes a great break through the midfield before offloading in the tackle to Cohen who draws and passes to Ngcukana who shows a good turn of pace to score near the corner.

Pretorius performs a perfectly weighted grubber which allows Maruping to gather the ball and go on the attack. He then loses the ball in contact. It was, however, promising signs that CUT be fighting back.

CUT opt to use their white card which shows that it should of been a penalty at the scrum after the UCT scrumhalf was offside. The Ref disallows the try and reverses his decision on the yellow card, allowing Pretorius to come back onto the field.

Schwikkard makes a half-break and makes a brilliant offload in the tackle to Xoli who is tackled near the tryline. They recycle the ball but it is lost forward.

CUT's defence holds strong as they put pressure on the UCT backline and manage to steal the ball at the ruck. They clear the ball up field.
