Full time 23-16 Stade Francais. A fair result as Stade came out firing in the second half with some excellent inter play amoung the backs, Hugo Bonneval particularly effective at slicing through the Clermont defence. The boots of scrumhalves Fillol and Dupuy were instrumental to Stade as their accurate kicking kept the Parisian side ticking over on the score board. While Brock James was less successful kicking at goal. This proved to be a defining factor as Clermont were not too far off on the scoreboard come the final whistle.
