Game over and Perpignan are through to the Amlin Challenge Cup semi final! A brilliant second half from Perpignan and they deservedly move on to the semi finals. This defeat for Toulouse adds more misery to their season after being dumped out of two European competitions. Perpignan now join Biarritz and Leinster in the semi finals and will face either Bath or Stade francias.
Perpignan have coped very well with the pressure and have forced Toulouse into giving away 2 penalties in front of the posts, which Hook has slotted over comfortably.
Forward pass?
Tensions are high here in Perpignan. Toulouse are piling the pressure on with 15 minutes remaining, can Perpignan hold on with 14 men?
Stupid play from Daniel Leo as he runs into the ruck and strikes Lamboley right in front of the referee with his forearm. The referee has no choice but to send him off.
Try for Toulouse. The home crowd are upset about that try and rightly so. Chateau breaks through the Perpignan defence and offloads the ball to Fickou which looked like a forward pass. Fickou then creates a two on one and passes the ball to Maka which again looked forward. Maka runs through to score and reduces Perpignans lead to 5.
Perpignan have started the better side in this half and haven't given Toulouse any possession of the ball. Perpignan are looking dangerous going forward when they use the pack.
Try Perpignan! A great piece of vision from Hook who sees space out wide and passes the ball out wide for the second row, Vahaamahina, who has a clear run to score.
Half time here in Perpignan and the home side are in the lead. Perpignan started brightly with Taofifenua scoring , but a lapse in Perpignan's concentration led Beaxuis to kick 12 points. Perpignan then regained the lead thanks to Sid.
Try Perpignan! Mafi provides a sublime offload for Sid who gives Perpignan the lead at Half time.
