Davies is denied another try by the TMO - Cooper dinks the ball in behind the defence and Morahan keeps the ball rolling with a hack downfield. Morahan chases and fails to touch down, but Davies arrives and gets a hand to it. The replay shows a knock-on by Morahan though, and the Tahs clear the ball into touch off the ensuing scrum. Waratahs secure try number two when McKibben reads the Reds backs move beautifully and snaps up the ball. He tears downfield, pursued by the scrambling Red defence, before slipping the ball to Barnes on his outside who touches down.
Referee Steve Walsh makes a suspect call when he serves Ulugia a yellow for a shoulder charge. Ulugia looks to have made an attempt to wrap his arms around, but there's strong contact and the player bounces from his grasp. Ten minutes in the bin.
Eventually the try comes when Lucas touches down in the corner. Reds win a penalty from the scrum and Cooper takes it quickly. Cooper makes good ground against the back-peddling Tah defence, but is brought down ten metres out.The ball is then swept wide to exploit the overlap, and Lucas crosses unopposed.
Reds look to have crossed, but TMO rules against - Scrumhalf Nick Frisby makes a break up the right hand touchline and sends Rod Davies into the corner. The pass is forward though, and we're brought back for a scrum.
Complacency from the Reds following the penalty kick - Tahs steal possession following the restart and begin to grind their way towards the Reds' whitewash.
