Perpignan nearly make an immediate reply to going beheind when Joffrey Michel bursts hrough the line to bring play deep into Montpellier territory. Thr Montpellier scramble defence is good however, and eventually Perpignan knock the ball on, allowing Trinh Duc to clear his lines. 18 minutes gone, score remain 3-0.

After 12 minutes Bustos Moyano opens the scoring with an easy kick from infront of the posts, after Perpignan are penalised for the tackler not releasing at the ruck. This coming off the back of an extended period of pressure in Perpignan territory for Montpellier.
