Bizarre passage of play twice nearly results in a try for the Dragons. Firstly Tovey had his chip blocked down as he attempted to kick in to the gaping space for a number of well positioned team-mates to chase. Then as Jordan Williams attempted to kick clear he spilled the ball under pressure leaving Hallam Amos the chance to run in try but a huge cover tackle from Rob McCusker forced him into touch.
Priestland lands another 3 after Francisco Nahuel Tetaz Chaparro played the ball from an off-side position following a Dragons knock-on.
Game getting a bit loose and scrappy. Dragons will want to calm things down again and make sure they don't let the Scarlets back into the game before half-time.
Second try of the game for the Dragons! Mesmerising off-loading out wide from both Prydie and captain Coombes saw the Dragons get close to the line. Lions star Faletau almost butchered it when he didnt use the off-load and as a result shipped a huge hit from Welsh team-mate John Davies. However the Scarlets couldn't hold up and Dan Evans crossed off the next phase. Tovey converted.
Priestland lands an easy but important 3 points to get his side off the mark. Scarlets will be hoping to get some foothold in the game now.
Only downside for the home-side was losing T Rhys Thomas to injury after spraining his ankle. Replaced by Hugh Gustaffson.
Opening try of the game goes the way of the Dragons. The home side took full advantage of the 5 meter scrum and after a couple of phases Francisco Nahuel Tetaz Chaparro showed wonderful hands to put his front-row partner Phil Price over in the corner. Jason Tovey converts from the touchline.

Dragons have now taken control since opening the scoring and are looking dangerous in hand. A great team move set Prydie away out wide and the winger was almost in for the opening try only for a great cover tackle from Rhys Priestland. TMO called in by Nigel Owens to confirm.
After having no ball early on the Dragons earn a penalty after their first real possession. Liam Williams lands a monster kick from 50+ meters to open the scoring.
