last year a bad referee decision vs the Cardiff blues lost us a Champions Cup spot. Get over it.
Tackle or no tackle do the sums, 5/7 points for Ospreys and they still lose, move on
although delighted at the result, have to admit first impression was he wasn't held, though I did hear that the requirement is you have to get back to your feet, for it not to be a second movement. would love for clarification on it though.
Patrick, you do understand that a tackle not held is NOT a tackle, just an attempt or are we playing touch rugby? therefore again doesn't have to release because, dare I say it, a tackle wasn't made. the ref and TMO decided he was HELD, although no hands were on him as he was going over unless a push is now deemed a tackle, and that is why they stated a double movement.
Great stuff, I believe that this win may just qualify us for Champions Cup next year!
time to celebrate I think?
Connacht Abu!!!
Full time here at the Sportsground where Connachts run at the top of the table continues as they defeat Ospreys 30-22. A fabulous game of rugby by both sides, Connacht started out the better side but were quickly matched by two Ospreys tries in the first half. Bundee Aki named the Man of the match, well deserved. Ospreys couldn.t break down the Connacht defence later on, the TMO decision over Davies ruled no try as he was tackled, then released and continued to move resulting in a double movement. Overall a great victory for Connacht today without their International players. Stay tuned with us on Ultimate Rugby for more live coverage and match analysis in the Guinness PRO 12!
Happy days lads
