Great stuff!!!!!!!
What a finish here in Galway by Connacht. Having trailed for 79 minutes of the game they get an unconverted try with just 5 minutes to go to level the scoreboard. Parks knows whats at stake and he sat back in the pocket to slot a beautiful dropgoal on the brink of 80 minutes to push his side 3 points clear. It was too little to late for the Dragons as they had no time to regroup and were beaten by the clock in the end. An overall sloppy performance by both sides but this can be blames on the miserable conditions. Thanks for staying tuned to us here at UR. We wish you all a very Happy Christmas.
Dragons now with a scrum last play of the game inside Connachts 10 metre line
What a finish here in Connacht as Parks slots over a drop goal with just a single minute remaining.
Try for Connacht! Substitute winger Fionn Carr uses his pace and power having gathered a cross field kick to evade a coupe of tackles before touching down to even out the scoreboard. Conversion missed and it's all even here with 5 minutes to go
Both sides clearing their benches as we enter the final 10 minutes.
Connacht turnover the Dragons ruck and Duffy turfs to touch in their own 22. Dragons lineout on the 10m line
Dragons spreading the ball across the backline approaching Connacht's 22. However Connacht's defensive line holds strong and force the pen and clear their lines
Dragons shuffle around the front row as prop Owen Evans is sent to the bin for an incident off the ball. Parks points to the posts this time however it drifts wide and the score remains 11-6
Connacht had 2 opportunities 5 metres from the line however they are penalised in the Maul and Dragons turf the ball deep down field bringing play back around the half way line.
