Nice one lions fingers crossed for a GS
Well said Rory. My thoughts, Hogg at 15 and Halfpenny at 11
I rather have the Wales back 3 with Hogg as sub. He's not experienced enough and halfpenny is a far better fullback in my opinion
Depends on how Gatland wants to approach the game. He could either start Halfpenny who steadies the ship for 60 mins and then bring Hogg on for last 20 to cause havoc on tiring defence. Or you start with a bang with Hogg and then bring on halfpenny to see out the game
I suspect the former
Or you're forgetting that rob Kearney is still a strong option
Kearney with his stage 2 hamstring tear? Missing the 1st test at minimum
Ha, you're wrong johnny
By all accounts he has made impressive recovery time but is on the bench for the first time this tour, bar the best performance of his career cannot see him making the starting side for the first test
