AWJ ...
Who's the cap then
@joe ... Totally agree!! Leagues apart
@peter. Wasn't he in the 13 position when Australia scored their try last week? As clearly remember O Driscoll was the one who was making the tackle and Davies was ball watching. He is not and never will be up to o Driscoll standard and I don't think I am the only one who thinks it. Total wrong call picking him ahead of o Driscoll.
How has O'Driscoll been left out
@Fmac ... And Hogg?!! ... Really??!!
Are you secretly a football fan??!!!
Fmac. I watch him week in and week out playing for sale sharks. His game is strong in the line and very average at the breakdown and scrummage. He's a useful player but lacks the strength and mobility of other players. Agreed parling was not on form last week but he is a far superior player all said. For me, Gray is just not a lion. Launchberry is a far more technical player for example and should have gone. I don't 'buy in' to everything I hear on TV or radio so when someone says he was the lynchpin I do t buy I to that unless I have seen it for myself, and I'm sorry to say I didn't.
At the risk of upsetting people, Scottish rugby in general has very little to offer the lions at this stage of their development.
I don't
Know what your selection thoughts are , but these are my thoughts alone.
John Davies hasn't been playing well because he's been out of position! He's a 13 not a 12 it was only 3 weeks ago BOD was raving at how good he was against the waratahs give the boy a chance! Personally think its a very strong mobile side that will get front foot ball.
@chris
How can u say gray isn't a lion!!?!! He should be starting over parling who was rubbish last week. In the game against the rebels he was described as the "lynchpin of the lions performance". Idiotic statement. As for the selection well I think my views have been covered by a number of people already
Without the Australian team being named the bookies have Australia favourites for this one.
