Lopez is a young Chilean up and coming player who currently plays for Selknam. In the 2022/23 season thus far, he had one appearance for Selknam in the Super Rugby Americas. His preferred playing position is prop.
At just 21 years old, Lopez has been named for Chile in the Rugby World Cup 2023 training squad.
