At just over 18 stone, Kieran Longbottom packs a mighty punch around the park. Having said this, the hooker is one of the more dynamic operators upfront across the game.
Longbottom signed for Australian franchise the Western Force in 2008. Later that same year, the powerful front-rower made his debut for the club in Super Rugby against the Chiefs in Perth.
The Australian-born prop originally joined Saracens in 2014 and spent two seasons with the North London club before signing for Sale Sharks in summer 2016.
He went on to make 20 appearances for the Sharks in a season that marked his return from a serious foot injury, which had disrupted his time with Saracens.
In July 2017 Saracens announced that Longbottom would return to the club on a one-year deal.
After four seasons playing for Saracens and Sale Sharks in the UK, Longbottom returned to Perth to bolster the line-up of a renewed and re-energised Western Force side.
The longtime Force legend brings consistency and toughness to the club's front row.
As of June 2020, he has made 65 appearances for the Super Rugby side.
