Juan Ignacio Brex, born on May 26, 1992, is an Argentine-Italian professional rugby union player who primarily plays as a centre for Benetton in the United Rugby Championship. He has also represented Italy at the international level.

Brex, who was born in Argentina, holds dual citizenship through his Italian heritage from his father. He began his rugby career in Argentina, playing for clubs such as San Cirano. He showcased his talent at a young age, representing Argentina at the under-19 and under-20 levels, earning a total of 8 caps.

In 2013, Brex made the transition to senior level rugby, representing the Pampas XV, which was the unofficial third-string Argentine team at the time. His performances caught the attention of the Jaguares, the Argentine Super Rugby franchise, and he earned a call-up to the squad.

Brex also gained experience playing for the Argentina Sevens team. In 2015, he joined Benetton Rugby, the Italian club, and has been a key player for them. As of December 2019, he had made 22 appearances for the club, scoring 10 points.

In 2019, Brex was named in the Italy Sevens squad for the Qualifying Tournament for the 2020 Summer Olympics, highlighting his versatility in different formats of the game. In January 2021, he was named in the Italy national team squad, signaling his commitment to representing Italy at the highest level.
