The Australian born Full Back made his name in Rugby League and moved to Union in 1999 where he played for Randwick in Sydney. Canada's leading points scorer he announced his retirement ahead of the 2015 RWC having missed the 31 man squad to travel to England. After an injury to Underwood in the opening game for Canada, Pritchard was called on to fill his place in the team
