Having previously signed for the Denver Stampede in PRO Rugby, Turnbull joined Houston Sabercats in Major League Rugby in 2018.
A native of Australia where he played for Eastern Suburbs in Sydney’s Shute Shield, he is American-qualified through his mother and was part of the USA Select XV squad in the 2016 Americas Pacific Challenge.
Since joining Houston in June 2017, Turnbull has been a regular in the SaberCats lineup, playing in 20 of 24 games across their two MLR campaigns.
In November 2019, he signed a deal with Old Glory DC.
