After graduating out of the Clermont Academy scrumhalf, Sanga joined the Clermont Senior side for the 2015/16 season.
He spent two seasons with the senior side but found that his opportunities were limited with the likes Morgan Parra, Ludovic Radosavljevic and Charlie Cassang all ahead of him in the pecking order.
Ahead of the 2017/18 season the speedy halfback signed for Montpellier and linked up with director of rugby Vern Cotter.
As of the 2018/2019 Champions Cup, Sanga has had 3 Champions Cup appearances.
