Showing early promise second rower Eduard Zandberg represented SWD while he was still at school and earned his spot in the SA Schoolboys side.
After School, he moved to Cape Town and joined Western Province where he earned his spot in the SA U20s for the 2016 Junior World Championship.
His performances lead to him being named in the Stormers 2017 Super Rugby squad but the youngster failed to make his debut due to the congested lock position, with Springboks Eben Etzebeth and Pieter Steph du Toit the incumbents.
