Coming from a rugby family, Taofiffenua is the younger brother of outside back Filimo Taofiffenua. He is also the cousin of French Internationals Romain and Sebastien Taofiffenua.
Contracted to Clermont from 2018, he is a talented outside back that earned a place in France's u20s squad for the 2019 U20 World Championship.
In 2020 he signed a deal with Racing 92.
