Arthur Cordwell, a talented loosehead prop, is a product of the Bath Senior Academy. He joined the academy after attending Canford School and has been a devoted Bath Rugby fan since childhood.
Arthur's dream of playing in the Premiership for his beloved Blue, Black and White came true when he made his debut as a replacement in a comprehensive victory over Newcastle Falcons in March 2021. His contribution to the squad's preparations for the remainder of the 2020/21 season was significant.
In addition to his rugby pursuits, Arthur has achieved academic success. He holds a degree in Physics from the University of Bath, where he carefully managed the balance between his studies and rugby commitments.
During the 2021/22 campaign, Arthur had the opportunity to showcase his skills in the prestigious Heineken Champions Cup. He made his debut in a match against four-time European champions Leinster and impressed with his scrummaging abilities. He continued to display his prowess in the scrum in the reverse fixture against Leinster.
Arthur Cordwell's journey from being a fan to a player for Bath Rugby is a testament to his dedication and hard work. As a young prop with great potential, he is poised to make further contributions to the team in the seasons to come.
