Born in York, Erskine qualifies for Scotland through his Scottish born grandparents.
A product of Uppingham School, the back-row is presenlty enrolled in the BT Sport Scottish Rugby Academy, whilst he turns out for BT Premiership side Boroughmuir.
Erksine has previously represented Scotland at U18 and U20 levels.
