Tommy began his playing days at Rainey Old Boys, honing his skills under the tutelage of club coaches before his strong ball carrying and robust scrummaging caught the eye of the Kingspan Stadium coaching personnel.
O'Hagan is somewhat of a late developer, having primarily played Gaelic games during his youth, before taking up rugby in his late teens
His performances with the Ulster 'A' team in the British & Irish Cup saw him included with the Ulster Senior side for the 2017-18 season, O' Hagan is set to made his debut for Ulster in April 2019 in the Guinness Pro 14.
He heads into the 2019/20 season as a senior member of the Ulster squad and will look to add to his 2 caps for the Province.
