A young and powerful loosehead Tim Farrell represented the New Zealand u20s in Georgia in 2017 and helped the side to win the u20 Junior World Championship.
Later that year he was included in Hawke's Bay's Mitre 10 Cup squad before training with the Hurricanes during their preseason for the 2018 Super Rugby.
