Playing Western Province Academy in 2008, Fuzani headed to the University of the Western Cape where he represented them in the Varsity Shield. Outstanding performances in 2013 earned the big lock a call up to the WP Vodacom Cup team and then went on to make his Currie Cup debut against the Bulls in Pretoria.
In 2014, Fuzani was called up to the Stormers team for the 2014 Super Rugby season and was included on the bench for their match against the Reds.
July 2014 saw him join Eastern Province Kings on a two-year contract.
At the completion of his two-year deal with the Kings Fuzani signed for the Pumas.
