Gunn represented Queensland Schoolboys before being capped at national schoolboy level in 2012.
He has also appeared for the Reds Under-20 and A sides and locally for Easts Tigers in the Queensland Premier Rugby competition.
He signed to join the Reds set-up in 2015 as a loose forward in the international Super Rugby competition.
He made his debut against the Lions, earning 5 caps for the Reds that season.
