Itunu make her Black Ferns debut as 18-year old against the World XV, a year after playing for Auckland Secondary Schools.
She played in all nine of the Black Ferns’ Tests in 2014, including the five Women’s Rugby World Cup matches, appearing again for the Black Ferns in 2015 but missed the 2016 campaign before being called back into the side by Coach Glenn Moore in 2017.
