Born in Truro, Oscar Beckerleg developed through the junior ranks of Penzance and Newlyn RFC from aged 7-16 before joining Truro College in his late teens. He was then called into the Exeter Chiefs academy and has already won a number of caps at England age grade level, with three at U18 and two at U19. Following in his older brother’s footsteps by picking up a rugby ball, he described the highlight of his young career so far as having the opportunity to have played with his brother. He was recently named in Mark Mapletoft's squad for the U20 Men's Six Nations.
