Wellington signed a professional deal with Rugby League team St Helens following his impressive performances during a two-week trial.
He caught the eye of the Saints’ scouts playing Rugby Union for Aberavon Quins – but has also played League for Wales at 16s & 18s – as well as the South Wales Scorpions.
The Welsh born versatile centre joined Rugby Union when he signed for Welsh team Dragons on a two-year deal.
