- 2233
Full time and France go into the World Rugby U20s Championship final for the first time in the competition's history. The home side led by just three points at the break but started the second half well when Romain N'tamack scored the first try of the match. Louis Carbonel converted a penalty soon after to extend the lead to 13 points. The French flyhalf added another penalty in the 63rd minute before Harry Plumber gave New Zealand some hope when he went over in the corner. He converted the tough conversion as New Zealand tried to fight their way back into the match but in the end, France were just too strong.
