Winners and Losers from All Black win over England
- 2381
New Zealand got their international season underway with a 1 point win over England. Here are the winners and losers from the game.
Winners:
The 15's:
Both Stephen Perofeta and George Furbank were excelent on the day. Whenever they got ball in hand on attack they made in roads against the defence.
Ben Earl:
Mark Tele'a:
Mark Tele'a was incredible as usual. He seemed to be beating defenders for fun and somehow manages to squirm out of any situation whether there are forwards or backs on him.
Earl had a superb game despite a shaky start, he was busy on defence making 15 tackles and was always a threat on attack.
Losers:
Scott Robertson:
Robertson will have some interesting calls to make specifically with Beauden Barrett. Barrett looked great when he came on, settling the game down but it will be hard for Robertson to drop either Perofeta or McKenzie.
Marcus Smith:
Smith was great with ball in hand but struggked off the tee. England kicked two from five off the tee and in a one point game it is hard to look away from that.
