Former Munster fullback Simon Zebo continued his fine for Racing 92 this weekend as he scored hattrick against Perpignan to keep Racing 92 in the Top 4 of the competition heading into the final round of the regular season.
Zebo scored three of Racing's eight tries on their way to a convincing 52-14 win over Perpignan on Saturday. His three tries took his season tally to 11, just one score behind Top 14 leader and teammate Virimi Vakatawa.
The 29-year-old has been a real hit in Paris having scored 16 tries in 25 games across all competitions.
Zebo completed his hat-trick soon after half time and before he was substituted off for Brice Dulin with Racing 92 leading 14-52.
He scored his first try after Finn Russell broke through the Perpignan defence with Zebo running the perfect support line to score. His second came after a nice intercept by Juan Imhoff who passed it off to Leone Nakawara who produced yet another basketball-styled offload to Zebo who outpaced the Perpignan defence on the touchline.
Zebo ran another nice support line inside Louis Dupichot, who also scored a hattrick on the day, who received a great skip pass before giving it to Zebo to score.
