The Wallabies' Rugby World Cup campaign has copped another body blow with news of teenager Max Jorgensen has suffered a suspected serious injury that is likely to rule him out of the tournament.
A Wallabies spokesman told Wide World of Sports that Jorgensen had been sent for scans to assess the ankle injury that was first reported by the Sydney Morning Herald.
The Herald reported that Jorgensen was suspected to have fractured his fibula with a potential recovery time of 8-16 weeks.
Jorgensen is yet to play for Australia and was a surprise pick in the squad after recovering from a serious knee injury.
The NSW outside back is now likely to be replaced in the Wallabies squad ahead of Monday's (AEST) crucial clash with Wales in Lyon.
Key forwards Will Skelton and Taniela Tupou are already out of that must win match after suffering training injuries.
