VIDEO HIGHLIGHTS: Benetton Rugby v Dragons RFC

Benetton made it three wins from four matches to start the United Rugby Championship with a 34-14 home victory over the Dragons. Benetton opened the scoring with a penalty eight minutes in and shortly after they had their first try to make it 10-0. 

 

Benetton scored a second try midway through the first half to open up a 17-0 advantage, which they held until halftime. The Dragons struck first in the second half, with a try six minutes in closing the gap to 17-7.

 

Benetton then added a penalty with around half an hour remaining and crossed for try number three around the hour mark to push their lead to 27-7. The Dragons hit back with a second score, but Benetton sealed the win with the bonus point fourth try with ten minutes to play.
