U20 6Nations: England's path to glory
- 229

Things are now at a boiling point in the U20 Six Nations as England currently leading the table, and will be salivating at the idea of scuring the Grand Slam title. France on the other hand are in a position to capitalise on any slip-ups that the English make.
Join us as we take a look at all of the possible outcomes and what each team needs to win the championship.
England’s Grand Slam path
England are in control of their own destiny and a victory over Wales at the Cardiff Arms Park, with or without a bonus point, would see them claim the U20 Six Nations Grand Slam and the title.
However a losing result for the log leaders will see the following scenarios come into play:
-
A draw against Wales, with a bonus point, would be enough to win the championship, finishing on 21 points.
-
If England draw or lose (with or without bonus points), they would still claim the title if France fail to beat Scotland or only manage a draw without a bonus point.
Points difference could also be a decisive factor:
-
A two bonus points loss could see them snatch title if they maintain a superior points difference over France, that is if France don't win with a bonus point.
-
A loss by one bonus point along with a France victory without a bonus point, will see the title determined by points difference.
-
If England lose with no bonus points, they would still lift the trophy if France only manage a draw with a bonus point against Scotland.
