Cardiff Blues have confirmed that Seb Davies is the latest player to commit his long-term future to the region.
The Wales international had attracted interest from rival teams but has followed in the footsteps of Rhun Williams and Corey Domachowski by signing his first senior contract at Cardiff Arms Park.
“It is great news that Seb has decided to remain with Cardiff Blues and I’m sure he will play a major role in the years ahead," said Cardiff Blues chief executive Richard Holland.
“Given his potential this is a major statement of intent as we continue to secure, and build upon, our home grown talent.”
Davies made his senior debut against the Scarlets in the Anglo-Welsh Cup three years ago and has since made 23 appearances for the region.
He made major progress at the tail end of last season and was rewarded with a place on Wales’ summer tour, where he won two caps.
