Scotland centre Duncan Taylor extends Saracens deal
Taylor, who was recently selected for Vern Cotter's Six Nations side, has signed a multi-year contract with the Premiership champions.

He has featured as a back, centre, wing and full back for the club since joining as a dual registered player at the start of the 2011/12 season.

Taylor has has gone on to make 81 appearances for Saracens and has won 12 caps for Scotland.

Commenting on the contract extension, Taylor said: "To extend my contract here was such an easy decision to make. Saracens are such a great club filled with great people and great players, we're doing well at the moment in all competitions and it's such an enjoyable place to come to every day.

"It is the people I work alongside everyday who make this club so special, and I'd never want to leave that behind. It's those people who make you come into work every day with a smile on your face and that makes you enjoy your rugby. Obviously the team has been very successful in recent years, and we're all part of a team that believes is capable of some special things, but it's the people and the environment that makes this club what it is.

"The club has helped me develop into the player I am today, and have put it in so much work which has seen me improve both on and off the pitch. I thoroughly enjoy every minute playing alongside these boys and I'm delighted to have committed my long-term future to the club to continue to do that.”

Mark McCall: "Duncan is one of the game's most underrated players. He can cover so many positions and I don't think he gets the credit for the wonderful work he can do with and without the ball. His work-rate and contribution to this team is enormous. He's a brilliant player who will only get better and better, so we're delighted that he's committed his future to the club.”
