Premiership Highlights: Sale Sharks 21-15 Worcester Warriors
- 965
Rugby is a game of two halves, and that was clearly evident today as the Sale Sharks managed to hold onto a 21-15 victory against their foes the Worcester Warriors. Had rugby been a one half game, both teams would have one today as Sale managed to get off to a very good start to lead 18-0 at halftime This was through two penalty conversions by AJ MacGinty, a try by Josh Beaumont and an intercept try by Denny Solomona. MacGinty converted the latter try. The second half was all Worcester as the Sharks were required to to defend their tryline on numerous occasions. They were finally cracked by a try by Bryce Heem and Chris Pennell. Duncan Weir missed the latter conversion however he did slot n a penalty between the two tries. The only trouble the Sale Sharks caused was through a penalty conversion in the 54th minute as they were often held at bay by a well organised Worcester Warriors defence.
