Patrice Collazo leaves Toulon by mutual agreement

Toulon have confirmed that head coach Patrice Collazo has left the club by mutual agreement. Defence coach James Coughlan will take over in the interim.

In a statement, Toulon confirmed the news, saying: "The Rugby Club Toulonnais and Patrice Collazo have decided, by mutual agreement, to end their collaboration.
"The preparation of the next Toulon - Biarritz match is now entrusted to the Toulon staff led by James Coughlan. Bernard Lemaitre will hold a press conference this Friday, October 29, 2021 at 9:30 am at the RCT Campus."
The news follow after Toulon suffered another defeat in the Top 14 against La Rochelle on Sunday (39-6).
Collazo joined the club in 2018 from La Rochelle, where he took the side from the ProD2 to the Top 14 top 4 & a Champions Cup QF in only a 4-year span.
