Brumbies front row have received a boost for 2017, with prop Nic Mayhew signing a one-year deal with the club.
The loosehead prop started out with Northcote Rugby Club and graduated to North Harbour’s Development Squad in 2010, earning his first ITM Cup cap for the team that same year.
Mayhew left for England to link with Premiership side, Harlequins, in 2011 following recommendation from former All Black Craig Dowd.
“He’s come through a tough development program at the Blues and North Harbour and has shown over the past two seasons of Super Rugby that he is ready for the next step in his career," commented Brumbies Head Coach Stephen Larkham.
“His addition to the squad will improve our depth in the front row and we are looking forward to having him on board for 2017.”
