Munster on cloud 9
- 2244
Munster ran in 9 tries to dish out Ulster's biggest defeat. Munster were made to do all the work it seemed as they had less possession, less territory and made 50 more tackles than Ulster on the night.
Keith Earls wins the hot stepper award by beating 7 defenders on the night. Earls ran 56 meters on the night scoring a try.
CJ Stander and Jean Deysel both topped the charts with 14 carries a piece and Deysel was mostly the only shining light for Ulster at Thomond Park.
Billy Holland made the most tackles with 20 and missing just 2.
The last time Munster scored 9 tries in a game was in January 2015 against Sale in the Champions Cup. Keith Earls was on the scoresheet that day too along with Simon Zebo, Ian Keatley, Andrew Conway, JJ Hanrahan, Pat Howard, Duncan Williams and Tommy O'Donnell
