Jono Gibbes and Clermont to part ways

ASM Clermont Auvergne club president, Jean-Michel Guillon, has shown head coach Jono Gibbes the door.

Clermont’s form of late has not impressed Guillon who appears to feel that the road the club is on does not match the club’s vision.

Gibbes will leave his position with immediate effect, meaning that he will not be travelling with the side to South Africa where they will take on the Stormers on Saturday in Cape Town.

It is expected that the club will announce a replacement soon.
