Johnny Sexton, the Ireland
fly-half, faces a race against time to be fit for the autumn international
series after he broke his jaw playing for Racing Métro at the weekend.
The British and Irish Lion suffered the injury in a collision with South
African hooker Craig Burden during his club’s Top 14 win against Toulon and
could be sidelined for two months.
Burden was sent to the sin bin for his
challenge.
Sexton, 29, will now fight to return quickly enough to be in contention for
