Italy v Wales | Winners and Losers

Italy v Wales | Winners and Losers

Italy have for the first time in their history won back to back games against Wales. Here are our winners and losers.

Winners:

Gonzalo Quesada:

Quesada and Co would have targeted Wales and it was evident in their play, specifically in the second half. They sat back and tried to take the points kicked onto Wales and waited for them. The rugby version of 'park the bus'.

Lorenzo Cannone:

MOTM and topped the stats board for turnovers, tackles, carries and defenders beaten.

Blair Murray:

Late call up after Liam Williams had to pull out but had a great showing at 15.

Ange Capuzozzo:

His position simply has to be on the wing, an incredible finisher

Losers:

Warren Gatland:

From playing a 12 at 10, to giving his side very little go forward tools to seeing his team slump to their lowest ever ranking, Gatland's head is very likely on the chopping block
