Wasps ran out 24-10 victors over Worcester in this afternoon's AVIVA Premiership clash at Sixways. Wasps got off to a great start, piling the pressure on Worcester early and causing them a variety of problems. On the 23 minute mark, after some truly incredibly play, Marcus Watson went over in the corner for the first try of the game. Worcester managed to hit back with a try of their own through replacement Biyi Alo on the stroke of half time, leaving the score at 10-7 to Wasps with the second half to play. Worcester scored a penalty early in the second half to draw the sides level and set the fans up for an enthralling finish. In the dying embers of the game Wasps' class began to shine through as they scored two tries through Le Roux and Bassett to make it 2/2 for Wasps this season. Worcester will be bitterly disappointed to have suffered consecutive defeats but can take a huge amount of pride in their performance level today.
