Gloucester Rugby confirmed that centre Henry
Trinder has agreed a new deal to remain with the Cherry and Whites
beyond the end of the current season.
Closing in on a century of appearances for the club, the 26 year old has made four appearances this season, scoring twice in Big Game 8 against Harlequins at Twickenham at the end of December.
News of Trinder's new deal comes as a welcome boost as he nears a return to fitness following a hamstring injury.
The Swindon-born midfielder made his Gloucester Rugby debut in February 2008 as a replacement against Sale Sharks, before making his first start against London Irish in January 2009.
Trinder has represented his country at U20 and Saxons level, and played for England in a non-cap international against the Barbarians.
