Ewan McQuillin heads to Yorkshire Carnegie

Prop Ewan McQuillin has signed for Yorkshire Carnegie ahead of the meeting between Carnegie and his current club London Scottish this Saturday in the final game of the 2017-18 season.

The prop is the latest new recruit for the Championship side as they look towards next season.

McQuillin joined London Scottish after being part of the Elite Development Programme with Edinburgh Rugby.

The tight-head was a crucial member of the Exiles scrum during the 2016-17 season, earning a recall on loan to Edinburgh, where he started their Pro12 victory over Treviso at BT Murrayfield.

He originally signed for Edinburgh Rugby in 2013 and joined the club’s Elite Development Player programme having previously played for Gala and Melrose.
