Delon Armitage suffers season ending injury

Lyon have been dealt two long-term injuries following their draw against Toulouse this weekend.

Fullback Delon Armitage's over after he suffered a serious knee injury that will sideline him for about 10 months. The Englishman suffered the injury shortly after the hour mark in his side's opening day draw against Toulouse.

Captain Julien Puricelli will be sidelined for up to 2 months after injuring his shoulder in against Toulouse. The flanker is a massive blow for Lyon as he was their go-to man at the lineout last season.
