Four of Cardiff Rugby’s finest showed that the quick-thinking skills learned on the rugby pitch can be useful in real life & death situations as well.
Josh Adams, Tomos Williams, Lloyd Williams and Ben Thomas gave good account of themselves in rushing to the aid of a woman in Cardiff who had been involved in a car accident in which she sustained a serious leg injury.
The players consolidated the situation swiftly alerted the club’s medical team who arrived with medical supplies and successfully stabilised the woman’s leg while other players brought blankets to counter her shock while the ambulance made its way to the scene.
Cardiff face Brive on Saturday in the opening round of the 2022-23 Challenge Cup.
